Home Builders -
We offer Home Builders class designed to build and strengthen Christian
Families. This class series is offered every Sunday morning at 9:45
AM.
Senior Citizens
Our senior citizen group is named Lamp Lighters. This group meets
periodically to fellowship together with group functions such
as special luncheons and short trips.
Bible Studies - Men's, Women's, and Home
Men's Bible Study - Our men's breakfast Bible study and prayer meeting is
held Friday morning at 10:00 AM . The third Friday of each month our
men's prayer meeting is switched to Saturday morning at 8:00 AM.
Women's Bible Study - Our women's Bible study is
called BYKOTA (Be Ye Kind One To Another). They meet at 10:30 AM on
Tuesday mornings. The first Tuesday of each month the BYKOTA Bible
study is followed by a luncheon.
Home Bible Study - Every Tuesday evening is our home
Bible study night. If you are interested in attending a small group
bible study, contact our church office for a location near you.
New Believers
Every Sunday morning at 9:45 AM we offer a new believers class. This
class is currently a discipleship class studying the Book of John.
Over Comers
Two Friday nights each month our college and career singles meet for a meal,
activities, and a devotional. Call the church or e-mail
info@firstbaptistpasco.com for a schedule.
Youth Programs
SALT Seekers -
SALT Seekers is a Bible
based program for any child between the ages of 4 years and high school. The
two hour program is filled with Bible verse memorization, group games, and
student interaction time. SALT Seekers is held every Wednesday night from
6:00 - 8:00 PM. Transportation can be provided if necessary. SALT Seekers
begins in September and ends in May. The cost is nominal.
Sunday School -
Every Sunday at 9:45 AM we offer Sunday school for children ages 2 - high
school. The classes are broken up into close age groups. The
Sunday school classes are one hour in length and includes bible study, verse
memorization and singing.
SALT Teens - SALT
Teens is for our teenage children. This group meets periodically to do
various activities. Activies include skiing, day hiking, Christmas Caroling,
elderly yard clean ups, games, snacks, and more.
Wilds of the Rockies
- Annually our SALT Teens take a week long excursion to the Wild of the
Rockies Christian Camp in Colorado.
Bible Baptist Camp -
Each summer children ages 3rd grade to 6th grade spend a week at Camp Wooten
located near Dayton, Washington. Here children spend a week attending
Bible studies, listening to preaching and participating in team games.
Music Ministries
Choir - Interested First Baptist members serve in our church choir.
The choir meets every Sunday at 5:00 PM for practice. The choir
performs special music each Sunday at our morning service. Our choir
also performs Easter and Christmas Cantatas.
Orchestra -
Interested First Baptist members serve in our church orchestra.
Periodically our orchestra performs during church services.
King's Kids - Youth ages
6 to 13 are invited to join our King's Kids singing group. This group
meets on Wednesday evenings immediately following SALT seekers. The
group periodically sings special presentations during our church service.
God's Little Lambs -
Youth ages 4 to 6 are invited to join our God's Little Lambs singing group.
This group meets on Wednesday evenings immediately following SALT seekers.
The group periodically sings special presentations during our church
service.
Gate Stormers
Any one of any age is invited to join our Gate Stormers group as often
as you can. The group meets at the church at 11:00 AM every Saturday
then proceeds to a predetermined traffic corner to hold up scripture signs
and pass out tracts. The group holds signs and witnesses from 11:00 AM
- 1:00 PM every Saturday.
Nursing Home
All day Thursday, our pastoral staff preaches to various nursing homes
throughout the Tri-City area. For a complete list contact our church
office.
Missions
"Go ye into all the world and
preach the gospel to every creature".
Reaching our lost world is a
main goal at First Baptist
Church. To help reach that goal we support many missions works around the
world. Every March at our annual Missions Conference and throughout the year,
we have various Missionaries come and share their burden for lost souls around the
world.
Evangelizing
Every October we host an evangelist and hold a week of services.
Services are held during the day and also in the evening.
